Cancellation & Rescheduling

At DomesticAide, we understand that schedules change. We are always happy to work with our clients whenever possible.

48-Hour Notice

We kindly request at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

This allows us the opportunity to adjust our schedule and offer your appointment time to another client.

First Courtesy

Your first late cancellation, skipped cleaning, or lockout will not result in any fee.

We understand emergencies happen and are happy to extend a one-time courtesy.

Repeated Late Cancellations

If late cancellations or missed appointments become a recurring pattern, DomesticAide reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the scheduled cleaning price.

Skipping Regular Maintenance Cleanings

Regular maintenance cleanings are priced based on the home’s expected condition.

Repeatedly skipping scheduled cleanings often results in significantly more cleaning time.

If skipped appointments become a recurring pattern, the next appointment may be priced as a deep cleaning or adjusted to reflect the additional time required.

Any pricing adjustment will always be discussed before your appointment.

Reset Policy

If there are no late cancellations or skipped appointments for six (6) consecutive months, your account returns to good standing and the courtesy policy resets.

Emergencies

Medical emergencies, severe weather, family emergencies, or other unforeseen situations will always be considered individually.
